Mohammad Altaf, Asst. Proffesor in Acting

Mohammad Altaf, a Research Scholar in Theatre Arts, S.N.School, University of Hyderabad, which is due for submission shortly. He is an actor, trainer, casting director and theatre practitioner. He has acted in Telugu, Hindi and Bengali movies and has done several theatre performances and workshops in different regions of India.

Associated  with NSD, Delhi, from many years participating in workshops first as a trainee and later as an instructor. He has provided training for anchoring and news presentation for different Television channels. He is a founder and President of organisation CAMS (Centre for Arts, Media and Social welfare). He is also a part of Children Art Theatre – CAT (a cultural organization for the development of children theatre) as Vice-president. He is contributing his valuable creative work towards the development of Children Theatre in his region with focus on children and the underprivileged.

He is also involved with government organisations and NGO’s conducting and providing logistic support in popularising public awareness campaigns. Regularly contributes articles on theatre and children development in magazines like Yojana and other regional magazines.
